American Hearts (A.A. Bondy Cover)

about

Easily one of my favorite songs ever written. Least ways it is the sort of song I wish I could write, so lush with imagery layered with social commentary and lingering questions. It came to mind at the end of the day, reflecting on the national election which had just taken place a few nights previous, and the various world views which are so often at odds between family members. Don’t tread on us.
